continued from yesterday…
So when someone sees you as one “thing” or another, no matter what “it” is. Whether it’s a “leather” colored brown, black, white or red, you remember that we all fall from Heaven one way or another, some just come through different family trees. This one came through the house of Gucci in an olive tree out in the back hills of Southern California. I wonder though dear one, where does your gift come through? What house? What tree so to speak? I want to speak to the “trees” in your life. The high places that are fastened and shining bright within you that want more from life but are trapped in a way of sorts. The parts that know you are deserving and willing to work, but also, aren’t completely polished and ready to go! I got you, you are my people! You got this, it’s possible. We’re going to start a pattern interrupt revolution right here in your hands! Why the Vegan with the Leather Purse? Why not? We all have ideals that we’re trying to live up to. Goals and desires, hopes and dreams. Souls hoping for a chance, to write their story, to share their lives, to live with thanksgiving and gratitude and serve in a new way. Living life in just one category is impossible. We are all moving mosaic’s of influence, care, responsibility and action in our lives. Our behaviors and patterns change all the time. Sometimes from exterior events, and sometimes from within. I saw this happen in my own life when I was 25 years old I faced a devastating autoimmune diagnosis. I didn’t know where this journey would take me at the time. The solution began by starting my life new every day, with prayer and thanksgiving. Really what happened next and continues to unfold in front of me, is the best thing that I could have ever asked for; to be able to live a life worthy of the calling (Eph. 4:1 NIV) dedicated to serving; one decision at a time. Maybe you haven’t figured where you fit in amongst all of this just yet, or a major plot twist has you searching for answers. Maybe you have a story and it’s right there under your nose but you have to look up and practice some presence in order to see it. It’s just about acknowledging that and leaning into whatever is next for you. It’s important to lean into wherever you are being called, and wherever there is favor. Stand on that next step and wait patiently for your cue. He will initiate the dialogue, but we have to be still and quiet to hear. I want to speak to the proverbial “trees” in your life in a Lorax type way. The high places that are anchored within you that want more but don’t know how to get there. The parts that know you are deserving and willing to work, but also, aren’t completely done being ready to present, I want the raw version. The growling parts of you that make the fight to be you so amazing. I want to see you walking in the growl. Much like a vintage bag, it’s important to have the raw materials in place. The lessons, the morals, the personal “manifesto” as my friend Jenny Nuccio says. Truly none of these things are in alignment if you don’t have the purpose driven life behind it. We are all human functions of our best algorithm, whether or not we see the code or it’s used is irrelevant. We can’t depend on technology to guide us into a whole place it never originated from. We must move into the next steps as a society as a culture as believers. This is an organic journey of humanity and belief. No one can interrupt that. Divine wisdom and grace always prevail and we are my friends officially “off book.” Many of us will choose experience first, it is a pitfall of writers and changemakers. We don’t know what’s on the other side, so we step into the pages, for the experience to write! Many will write nuggets of proverbs on paper and never do anything about them, the Vegan with the Leather Purse is about being yourself and not judging other people. This is our story, the investory of your next major move, your next big break, the next big thing you’re supposed to do. Yes, I’m making new words in this chapter and using strange parallels to paint your picture. None of that matters if you don’t get the fabric right on the decor my friend. It’s all about evolving into your best self. Showing up for “you” who you can really be even if no one is looking. Especially if no one is looking! The hardware here is important, but so is that original fingerprint. No one can duplicate your mark on the world, so get busy figuring out what that is. Where can you find more fingerprints in your life? Where are the touch points, where someone stood in the gap for you? Where can you serve for greater impact?
Everyone wants to make a difference. When you step into the room where you go to follow your dreams, know that I am your advocate. You change the atmosphere when you walk in. When new lanes and industry are being carved out it’s important to push, continue, persist until you have some results to work with. Your willingness to never give up and your commitment to working together for the good of the people around you. To serve a higher good and a bigger purpose. THAT is our unity, THAT is our service. We can try to make changes all day long, but if they’re out of alignment with our values and mission it’s not going to be fruitful. So I walk by faith and not by sight, it’s that simple. It is to write from loyalty from our creator, to write from advocacy from the well deep within the heart, that is where we draw from.
