“Where meaning meets beauty you have been made ready.”
-Joanna Gaines
I love this quote from Joanna Gaines. She really gets the essential message across. It’s almost like she has her own brand language that is “Magnolia” itself. I call it “spirit” language. It’s the heart of one’s spirit communicating with the world and it lands on me like poetry when I hear it.
You ever have that happen? You walk into the room and you pick up a feeling? This happens to me when I walk into a “Gaines space” I call it. Joanna has cultivated a brand font that is a bellwether for anyone interested in interior design. Her displays inside a store create a feeling, an emotion and a disruptional peace that hovers around the brand wherever it goes like a helicopter. It’s that feeling or je ne se quas (I don’t know what) that I discuss chasing in my book, The Vegan with the Leather Purse. I don’t claim to have all the answers, in fact, I might bring more questions to the table than most people, but I do know what prescence is and I hope that most believers do, and it’s that type of grace that I find myself chasing all the time. More stories on the topic of chasing the Holy Spirit on the horizon. Have you experienced this yet?
Here’s one example:
